Jammu and Kashmir: Police organises career counselling prog in Kupwara

Srinagar: As  a  part  of  community  outreach  programme,  Kupwara  police  organised  a  one  day Students    Career    Counselling    Programme    at    District    Police    Lines    Kupwara.

Around   200   students   from   across   the   district   participated   in   the   programme.

Prominent  persons  including  Dr  Fayaz  Ahmad (Professor),  Dr Wasif  (MD Radiology), Miss  Nadia  (Lawyer),  Dr  Asif  (Member  CPR),  Bashir  Ahmad  Wani  (Lecturer),  Zahid Rashid     (KAS)     spoke     in     length     about     the     emerging     career     prospects.

The students were counselled and advised to focus on their studies and channelize their energy in a positive direction so that they evolve as better citizens of the state who will be committed to the welfare of our society.

SSP Kupwara Shriram Ambarkar also shared his valuable experience with students aspiring for UPSC examination.

Later, one hour question/answer session was also held by DySP HQRS Kupwara. Students have hailed the role of police in organizing such informative sessions.

"Community members have appreciated the role of police in organizing such programmes in the district and have hoped to continue such programs in future," police said.
