Kingpin of Bulandshahr gang-rape and two others arrested in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, Aug 9 (IBNS) : The Uttar Pradesh police have arrested on Monday the kingpin of the gang suspected to be involved in the Bulandshahr gang-rape, The Times of India reported..

Just before midnight on Monday, DGP Javeed Ahmad tweeted 'Remaining 3 accused in Bulandshahr case arrested after week long chase across east India'.

According to reports, Salim, the kingpin and two of his associates- Zubair and Sajid- all believed to be involved in the horrific  gang-rape of a Noida-based woman and her teenage daughter, were arrested by the Special Task Force from Meerut on Monday night. They are said to be the notorious Bawaria gang that operates across several states.

With the fresh arrest, the Uttar Pradesh Police had arrested all six persons believed to be involved in the brutal Bulandshahr gang-rape case.
