Kolkata: 11 kg gold worth Rs.3.5 crore recovered from Sealdah station, 3 held

Kolkata, Sept 5 (IBNS): Police on Sunday night arrested three gold traffickers from Kolkata's Sealdah railway station and seized 11 kg gold biscuits from their possession, reports said.

According to reports, acting on a tip-off, police booked three suspected residents of Uttar Pradesh, when they were boarding Delhi- bound Duranta express, and recovered at least 70 gold biscuits from their possession.

The estimated market price of the gold biscuits is nearly 3.5 crore rupees, an official said.
