Kolkata: Window grill collapses in Hindu School, 3 students injured

Kolkata, Aug 15 (IBNS): Three students of Kolkata's Hindu School were injured on Tuesday when a window grill collapsed on them, reports said.

According to reports, an old window grill suddenly fell down on  second standard students during the recess  time between two classes.

The were rushed to Calcutta Medical College and Hospital and released after first aid.

"When, they were trying to climb the old grill, it suddenly collapsed on them," a school official told IBNS.

West Bengal Education Minister Partha Chatterjee told IBNS, "Very unfortunate incident and I wall discuss the matter with Hindu School's head teacher."

"Preventive actions should be taken to avoid such incidents," he further said.
