Aurangabad, Apr 3 (UNI) Sitting All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) MLA Imitaz Jaleel of this central Assembly constituency filed his nomination papers for the Lok Sabha seat on Wednesday.

AIMIM is a constituent of Adv Prakash Ambedkar-led Vanchit Bahujan Agadhi (VBA).

Before filing his papers, Jaleel, along with AIMIM and VBA party workers, paid rich tributes to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Statue, located at Bhadkal gate. Later, they garlanded a statue of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi.
During the rally, the AIMIM and VBA activists raised slogans like 'Panja Kamal Teer Kaman, Ye Sab Baieman' and 'Kaun Aya Kaun Aya, Sher Aya Sher Aya'.

Later talking to mediapersons, Jaleel firmly said that this time, AIMIM will win the Aurangabad Lok Sabha elections and there will be no affect of any magic in this election.

The journalist entered the political arena in 2014 and won the Aurangabad central assembly seat on AIMIM ticket against Shiv Sena candidate Pradeep Jaiswal and BJP nominee Kisanchand Tanwani.
