Kolkata, May 4 (IBNS): A day before the final phase of polling in the West Bengal Assembly polls, an official of the Calcutta High Court on Wednesday submitted the raw video tape of the Narada sting and video shooting gadget to the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) Hyderabad for forensic tests.

The Narada sting triggered a massive political storm in West Bengal as it showed several key Trinamool Congress leaders taking bribes.

Following the direction of Calcutta High Court's division bench, comprising of CJ Manjulla Chellur & Justice Arijit Banerjee, court's Registrar Jayanta Kumar Kole submitted the tape and the video shooting device to the CFSL.

Narada News editor Mathew Samuel also submitted his laptop before the CFSL on Wednesday.

"Reports would come in next two weeks," sources said.

The submissions were made just a day before  people in West Bengal will exercise their franchise in the final phase of polling in the West Bengal Assembly polls.

Since March 14, news portal- Narada News- released several sting operation footage, where TMC's leaders, ministers, MPs and MLAs were exposed while allegedly taking bribes.

From the beginning, TMC leaderships had claimed that the sting footage was doctored and conspiracy of oppositions.

Note: IBNS did not carry out the sting operation and we have not verified the contents of the sting independently.
