Narendra Modi congratulates Pravind Kumar Jugnauth on taking over as Prime Minister of Mauritius

New Delhi, Jan 23 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke on the telephone with Pravind Kumar Jugnauth a short while ago to congratulate him on his assumption of office as the Prime Minister of Mauritius.

Prime Minister Jugnauth thanked the Prime Minister for the telephone call.

The Prime Minister and Prime Minister Jugnauth affirmed their shared commitment to further strengthen the time-tested and unique relationship between India and Mauritius, read a government statement.

The Prime Minister also appreciated the leadership and contribution of outgoing Prime Minister Sir Anerood Jugnauth to strengthening the strong bonds of friendship between India and Mauritius.
