Narendra Modi inaugurates KMP Expressway, Congress calls it 'incomplete'
Gurugram, Nov 19 (IBNS): In a major move, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday inaugurated the Kundli-Manesar section of the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway in Haryana.
Opening the section, Modi said he expects that it would reduce vehicular pollution in Delhi.
Pollution problem has badly hit people of the national capital for the past couple of years.
"This expressway will play a crucial role in reducing the pollution level in Delhi and its surroundings," he said.
Attacking the Congress-led UPA government, Modi said: "Work was going on this (KMP) Expressway for the past 12 years. You all should have got this at least 8-9 years back."

"Infact, it was scheduled to be used during the (2010) New Delhi Commonwealth Games. This shows the work culture of the previous government. They only encouraged delays and wastage of public money," he said.
He said traffic mechanism in Delhi would have been different if the expressway would have been completed on time.
The Congress alleged that the Expressway was still incomplete and questioned whether the PM will take responsibility of "endangering people's lives by inaugurating it.
