One killed in Kashmir violence

Srinagar, Aug 15 (IBNS): Amid clashes with security forces, one protester was killed on Monday, media reports said.

The security forces reportedly opened fire at protesters.

Clashes occurred in Srinagar's Batamaloo area.
The  valley witnesses massive protests after top Hizb militant Burhan Wani was killed in an  encounter with security forces in Kokernag area of South Kashmir on July 8 .

Several civilians have been killed and  6000  injured since Burhan Wani's death.
