Passport Seva Camp to be organised at Asansol

Kolkata, Jan 3 (IBNS): Regional Passport Office, Kolkata is organising a Passport Seva Camp for passport applicants having current residential address within the region covered by the District Police Headquarters of Birbhum, Bankura, Asansol-Durgapur, Burdwan and Purulia from Jan 13-15.

The camp will be held at the meeting hall, SDO’s Office in Asansol.

The Camp will be equipped to handle only 200 normal type Passport applications (No Tatkal or PCC will be processed) per day, a total of 600 applications for three days will be processed for which the applicant will have to fill the on-line passport application starting from Jan 10 by selecting ‘Passport Camp at Asansol' option and also to pay the requisite fees using only the on-line payment facility.

Applicants must carry the one page printout of system generated ‘On-line Appointment Receipt’, together with requisite documents (original and self-attested photocopies) for completing the application submission process at the Camp.

Regional Passport Officer Bibhuti Bhushan Kumar said the applicant should visit the official website www.passportindia.gov.in for filling out online application and also for detailed information on documents required in various situations.
