Siddaramaiah day-dreaming of becoming CM: BS Yediyurappa

| @indiablooms | Dec 01, 2019, at 07:41 pm

Belagavi/UNI: Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa said here on Sunday that Congress leader and former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is seeing a day-dream of becoming the Chief Minister and coming to power again, after the December 5 by-elections in the state.

Speaking to media persons at Ankalagi in Gokak Taluk, about 50 km away from here, Yeddiyurappa said Siddaramaiah and Congress will never be able to fulfill that dream, as "That is only his day-dream".

The Chief Minister and his team visited this district for campaigning in favour of BJP candidates and disqualified MLAs Ramesh Jarkiholi. Shrimanth Patil and Mahesh Kumtalli.

Over the Congress' claims that political situation will change in the state after the December 9 by-belection result, Mr Yediyurappa said, 'BJP will complete its remaining term of about three-and-a-half years. We will give good governance to the state, our main agenda is overall development in the state.

On polarisation, he said BJP will complete its balance term of about three-and-a-half years.

BJP will win all 15 seats in the by-election, including three from Belagavi district- Athani, Kagwad and Gokak with a huge margin. No doubt about it, he added.

Both Janata Dal (S) and Congress leaders are expecting a mid-term poll in the state and misguiding people, but the real situation is different. People are intelligent and they have decided, the Chief Minister said.

The quarrel between JDS and Congress will increase after the by-election results, Mr Yediyurappa said.

Union Minister of State for Railways Suresh Angadi and other leaders were present.
