Veteran CPI-M leader Shyamal Chakraborty hospitalised

Kolkata/IBNS: Veteran CPI-M leader Shyamal Chakraborty has been hospitalised, informed her actress daughter Ushasie Chakraborty.

Shyamal Chakraborty, who has an infection in lungs, was admitted to a hospital here on Wednesday.

In a Facebook post, Ushasie informed that her father has been kept on the same floor, where patients suffering from breathing problems including the ones infected with Covid-19 are present, but in a separate cabin.

Chakraborty will undergo a Covid-19 test on Friday.
