COVID-19 in Maharashtra: 30-yr-old tests positive in Nashik
Nashik/UNI: A 30-year-old man from Niphad taluka in the Nashik district has been infected with corona.
According to official sources, on March 12, he went to a private doctor for treatment for cough and fever. But he didn't feel well. On March 25, he went to the rural hospital Lasalgaon for treatment.
Later, he admitted himself to the District Hospital, Nashik for treatment and on March 27 due to the symptoms of pneumonia.
He was examined by a medical team at District Hospital, Nashik and rushed to the Corona detachment cell. Samples of his throat swab was sent to Pune for examination.
The report of throat swab was received late Sunday night at the district hospital and it was concluded that the patient was tested positive for corona.
The patient is stable and is being treated by a team of experts at Corona Disease. The throat of eight patients enrolled in the remaining corona dissociation cell was received negative.
There are currently 7 patients admitted to the Corona Isolation Cell. Their nature is stable and they are improving. And they will be released at home tomorrow.
According to the District Health Officer's monitoring, a Coronary Virus Positive Patient Surveillance Team has been launched. Also, all these situations are being monitored by the departmental commissioner Rajaram Mane, the health care doctors and staff under the leadership of District Collector Suraj Mandhare. The administration has urged citizens not to panic, to be out of the house, to wash their hands with soap frequently, to avoid rubbing their hands, nose, mouth and eyes.
