PM Modi lauds India's response towards Coronavirus outbreak

New Delhi/IBNS: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday came out with all praises for his country over its response towards the deadly Coronavirus outbreak.

In reply to a Twitter user who praised the airport authority's preparedness, Modi said, "It is a united and coordinated response from everyone. This shows the strong spirit of our nation in such situations. #IndiaFightsCorona"

The total number of positive cases in India rose to 110 with Maharashtra recording the most of them followed by Kerala.

The first Coronavirus positive case was reported in Odisha on Monday.

On Sunday, Prime Minister Modi held a discussion with the representatives of all the South Asian countries via video conference and proposed a plan to set up a common fund for the countries of the region to use it for immediate requirements.

Across the globe, over 166,000 people have been infected by the 'pandemic' virus while more than 6,000 people have died.
