Sensex opens in green, BSE trading at 59,030.20, Nifty at 17,567.75

Mumbai/UNI: For the second consecutive day, the stock market opened in green on Wednesday with BSE Sensex trading at 59,030.20, up 24.93 points or 0.04 per cent and Nifty at 17,567.75, up 5.75 or 0.03 per cent.

Among the pack of 30 stocks at BSE, NTPC, HCL Tech, Titan, Maruti, IndusInd Bank, Mahindra and Mahindra were among the top gainers while HDFC, Axis Bank, Nestle, Hindustan Unilever, Bajaj Finance were among the top losers.

In the previous session, the BSE closed at 58,490.93 while Nifty at 17, 396.90.
