Chinese woman tries biryani for first time, uses 2 spoons like chopsticks and internet can’t stop laughing

| @indiablooms | Sep 17, 2026, at 03:41 pm

A Chinese woman’s first experience of eating biryani has gone viral on social media after her unique way of using spoons left netizens amused.

In the video, the woman is seen being served a plate of biryani. However, the moment that caught viewers’ attention came when she picked up the spoon to eat the rice.

Two spoons instead of one

Rather than using the spoon in the conventional manner, she picked up two spoons, turned them around and used them like chopsticks to eat the biryani.

Her unusual technique appeared to be an attempt to replicate the way chopsticks are used, which she may have found more comfortable for eating.

The woman captioned the video: “It works.”
