Kolkata, Mar 4 (IBNS): The Kolkata outlet of Yauatcha, the Chinese dim sum tea-house, will be celebrating Women's Day through a month-long celebration.

The patisserie selection at Yauatcha has an extensive array of petits gateaux, homemade chocolates and macarons on offer, which draw their inspiration from Chinese ingredients but are presented in a classic European style.

The signature petits gateaux selection includes the rose shaped Raspberry delice, the Chocolate pebble with crunchy cocoa nib nougatine and the Pecan coffee delice, with a mascarpone based gateau, rich buttery pecans, dark smoky coffee and crispy feuilletine.

The use of a variety of fruits, fresh produce and flowers make the collection distinctive and vibrant, according to a representative.

Local additions include the Tropical dome, with mango mousse and passion fruit, and the Red fruit fromage with mascarpone and pistachio sponge.

The macarons are inspired by refreshing and cooling seasonal ingredients such as mango, tamarind and kumquat.

Handcrafted in flavours like vanilla rum, salted caramel, coffee and star anise and Champagne truffle, the homemade chocolates are great for those who prefer slightly mature tastes.
