Vintage Asia at JW Marriott Kolkata gets ready for Chinese New Year
Kolkata, Feb 4 (IBNS): Vintage Asia, the fine dining address of JW Marriott Kolkata, is all set to usher in the Chinese Lunar New Year that begins on Tuesday (January 5).
The select menu has been curated by Chef Alexsander Cheng known for his wide experience in Oriental cuisine.
Start with soups such as ‘Imperial Double-Boiled with ToFu Dang Shen’, ‘Cordyceps and Dried Longan’, ‘Braised Crabmeat in Golden Supreme Broth’, ‘Doubled-Boiled Bamboo Piths Mushroom Seaweed in Vegetable Broth’, or ‘Sweet Corn Black Moss Thick Soup’.
Appetizers include ‘Stir Fried Chili Lotus Root’, ‘Deep Fried Swan Dumpling’, ‘Cantonese Style Hanging Roasted Duck', ‘Crispy Roasted Chicken with Ginger Spring Onion Sauce’, and ‘Crispy Bean Curd Skin Roll filled with Shrimps and Preserved Vegetables Dipped in Broth’, ‘Stir-fried Radish Cake in Sichuan Style’., etc.
One of the signature dishes that will mark the Year of the Pig is ‘Pork Ribs with Minced Garlic and Black Pepper Sauce’.
Other main courses include ‘Braised Fragrant Rice with Vegetable, Fujian Style’, ‘Seared Xisha Island Lobster with Garlic Sauce’, and ‘Wok Fried U-don Noodles with Vegetables, Shanghai Style’ and so much more.
Round up your meal with some Chinese dessert such as ‘Refreshed Ice Jelly with Mango Puree and Orange Flavored’.
