Wild Stone enters gas-less space

Kolkata, Aug 27 (IBNS): Wild Stone, the male grooming brand by McNROE Consumer Products Pvt. Ltd., recently announced its foray into the No Gas deodorant category with the launch of Wild Stone perfume Body Spray.

With this launch, Wild Stone aims to hit the number one space in the multi crore deodorant market.

Perfume Body Spray is McNROE’s eleventh offering and will be available in 6 different variants.

The brand has roped in actors Kunal Kapoor and Huma Qureshi to promote the product through extensive ATL and BTL campaigns.

Making the announcement, N K Daga, Founder and Director, McNROE Consumer products said, “Since its inception, Wild Stone has always emerged as one of the respected brands and enjoys incredible loyalty amongst its consumers. Being one of the leading players, we always endeavor to offer our customers International quality, better fragrances, superior packaging for our brands. Wild Stone perfume Body Spray is one of such attempts and will further help build the company portfolio.”

Adding further on the category, Daga said, “No Gas” deodorant category is the fastest growing segment, and is slowly evolving as the separate product category in itself with the 30% growth rate. With this launch we look forward to a significant growth in our market share taking the brand to the number one spot. ”

The company has also planned an extensive marketing campaign involving television and outdoor which will be nationally activated.

The television campaign will be activated across national and regional channels in India, including genres such as Hindi movies, Hindi news, English news, Youth entertainment and HD feed channels.

The advertisement has been dubbed in 7 languages namely Bengali, Oriya, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Marathi and Kannada. The outdoor campaign will be activated across Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata.

The launch burst for the television campaign will be 3 months, followed by maintenance exposure, while for the outdoor campaign will run for 3 months.
