11-year old girl made to stand in boys' toilet as punishment for wearing inappropriate uniform

Hyderabad, Sep 11 (IBNS): In yet another shocking incident in a school, an 11-year old girl child was made to stand in the boys' toilet as a punishment for wearing inappropriate uniform, media reports said.

The incident occurred at a school in Hyderabad.

The girl was stopped by her P-T teacher when she was found not wearing the proper uniform and later dragged into the boys' toilet.

Though the child tried to explain that her mother had washed the P-T uniform and also written the excuse in school diary, the teacher scolded the girl and made her stand in the boys' toilet.

Following the incident, several child rights activists demanded the registration of the case under Protection of Children Against sexual Offences (POSCO) Act.
