2 dead, 5 injured as fire massive fire breaks out at residential building in Mumbai's Kandivali

Mumbai/IBNS/UNI: Two people, including an 8-year-old minor boy, died and 5 others were injured after a massive fire broke out at the Pavan Dham Veena Santur residential Building in the Kandivali West area of Mumbai's suburb.

The fire broke out around 12.30 p.m. The incident is a level-1 fire, informed the BMC.

According to reports, the fire erupted on the 1st floor of the 8-story residential tower. The BMC, MFB, and police rushed to the spot after receiving the information.

According to reports, two small hose lines and first aid lines of four motor pumps were engaged to douse the fire which was finally brought under control in an hour's time.

The electric supply to the building has been disconnected.

The fire brigade has started the cooling operation.
