Arunachal Pradesh: Three people injured in leopard attack

Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh, Feb 28 (IBNS): At least three people have been injured in a leopard attack in Arunachal Pradesh, reports said.

The incident took place at Namsai town in Arunachal Pradesh, along with Assam border on Wednesday.

The leopard was spotted at a market in Namsai, witnesses said.

According to the reports, the beast entered a shop triggering panic among civilians.

Among the injured were a Buddhist monk and two other people.

The injured persons were rushed to a hospital.

Later, officials from the forest department managed to tranquilize the leopard.
