Assam: Another rhino poached in Kaziranga

Guwahati, Dec 24 (IBNS): Poachers have continued their killing spree in Assam's Kaziranga National Park (KNP) with the elimination of another one horned rhinoceros in the world heritage site on Wednesday night.
On Thursday morning, forest guards found carcass of a bullet injuries male rhino inside the national park.
 
The incident took place at Bahubil forest camp area under Bagori range of the park.
 
“Poachers killed the rhino using by sophisticated weapons and managed to flee with its horn,” a KNP official said.
 
Poachers have killed at least 16 rhinos alone in Kaziranga in this year so far.
