Assam police arrest two supari killers who planned to kill Assam minister Himanta Biswa Sarma

 Guwahati, Dec 8 (IBNS): Assam police on Friday arrested two supari killers who were planning to kill Assam finance minister and top BJP leader Himanta Biswa Sarma.

 A top official of Assam police said that based on intelligence input police had arrested the persons from Singimari area near Dadara in Kamrup (Rural) district.

The arrested persons were identified as Paban Ali and Fakaruddin Ali and they have been produced before a local court.

During the preliminary investigation, the arrested persons had revealed that, they have been asked to kill the Assam minister and to be paid of Rs 5 crore.

Assam police has denied for disclosing more information.

The top police official said that, the persons had planned to kill the minister by using bomb and investigation is going on.
