Bengal polls: Babul Supriyo heckled in Kolkata's Jorasanko constituency
Supriyo said he caught the 'drunk TMC' worker but he was later released by the police.
"Someone has to stand up against this hooliganism by TMC•I am happy I did it•Ran o@Caught the drunk TMC goon MYSELF but police set him free," Supriyo tweeted.
Amid reports of violence, 67.55 voters have exercised their franchise till 3 pm on Thursday in West Bengal, where the third phase of Assembly Elections is underway.
While 49.43 percent voter turnout was recorded in North Kolkata, 70.55 percent voting was reported in Burdwan, while Nadia recorded a turnout of 68.62 percent and Murshidabad 70.32 percent.
