Bollywood ex-heroine Mamata Kulkarni's husband is allegedly in drug racket
Mumbai, Apr 28 (IBNS) Former Bollywood heroine Mamta Kulkarni's husband Vicky Goswami has been accused of running a cartel to smuggle drugs from Mumbai to USA via Kenya where he is also based, according to media reports.
According an NDTV report, a raid in a pharmaceutical factory in Thane led to recovery of 20,000 kg of substance which is worth Rs 2000 crore in market.
A DNA report said Vicky Goswami, the alleged kingpin, is out on bail after he was arrested by the Kenyan police while Mumbai police held eight so far including a Nigerian.
The Indian police acted on a tip off from the US Drug Enforcement Agency.
The probe led to Goswami who is now in bail in Kenya but is likely to be extradited to India from there.
Media reports said Vicky Goswami is a notorious drug lord wanted by the US for running the international racket.
