Bombay HC grants interim bail to Raj Kundra in porn case

| @indiablooms | Aug 19, 2021, at 02:43 am

Mumbai/IBNS: The Bombay High Court on Wednesday granted interim bail to businessman Raj Kundra for his alleged involvement with a pornography films racket case.

He had applied for anticipatory bail in connection to Maharashtra Police Cyber Cell's case of 2020.

The High Court has kept the hearing for his anticipatory bail application on Aug 25.

Kundra, 45, married to Shilpa Shetty, was arrested on July 19 for allegedly producing and streaming pornographic content. He is currently in judicial custody.

Defending her husband last month, Shilpa had asserted that 'erotica' and 'pornography' were different, and Kundra was not involved in producing pornographic content.

She was also questioned by the cops while their Juhu bungalow was raided by the Mumbai Police.

Shilpa had later urged the media and all her followers to refrain from invading her family's privacy at a time when Kundra's porn case is being investigated.
