New Delhi/UNI: Ahead of the last week of Monsoon Session, Opposition parties on Sunday released a video, urging Prime Minister Narendra Modi to listen to them.

"Mr. Modi, come listen to us," Trinamool Congress leader Derek O'Brien said in a tweet where he shared a video compilation of clips of Opposition leaders speaking in Parliament, demanding discussion of the Pegasus snooping controversy.

The video featured leaders from Congress, Trinamool Congress (TMC), Samajwadi Party (SP), Shiv Sena, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), Communist Party of India (Marxist), Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

In the video, Rajya Sabha Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge is seen demanding a debate on Pegasus saying the government is not allowing the debate, but allowing Bills "which can be taken up later".

TMC Rajya Sabha MP Sukhendu Shekhar Roy, Ram Gopal Yadav of SP, Priyanka Chaturvedi of Shiv Sena, Manoj Jha of RJD and other Opposition leaders also feature in the video.

Opposition parties have put up a united front against the government in both Houses of Parliament, demanding debates on Pegasus, farmers' protests, and other issues.

On Friday, Opposition leaders from 14 parties including former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, joined protesting farmer groups at Jantar Mantar and attended a mock Parliament called by Samyukt Kisan Morcha, a coalition of farmer groups protesting against new farm laws.

The Monsoon Session has been witnessing a stalemate, as Opposition leaders continue protests in both Houses, forcing repeated adjournments.

The session that started on July 19, ends on Aug 13.
