Congress releases fifth list for Lok Sabha polls

New Delhi, Mar 19 (IBNS): The Congress has released the fifth list of candidates for the Lok Sabha polls.

In the candidate list it could be seen that the Congress has fielded former Union Minister M.M. Pallam Raju from Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh, Bhubaneswar Kalita from Mangaldoi in Assam and Deepa Dasmunsi from Raiganj in West Bengal.

The party also named the candidates for Assembly polls in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.

The Congress named 36 candidates for  Odisha and 132 candidates for Andra Pradesh.

The party named 56 candidates for the Lok Sabha polls.

This 56 candidates list include 22 from Andhra Pradesh, five from Assam, six from Odisha, eight from Telangana, three from Uttar Pradesh, 11 from West Bengal and one from Lakshadweep.
