Counting of votes begin in Meghalaya, Tripura, Nagaland

Shillong, Mar 3 (IBNS): Counting of votes is currently going in the assembly polls held in Tripura, Meghalaya and Nagaland on Saturday.

Vote counting commenced at 8 am in the morning.

All eyes are at Tripura where the fight is going on between the ruling Left Front government and the BJP.

Polling held in Tripura in Feb 18.

In Meghalaya and  Nagaland, people voted on Feb 27.

As per early trends, in Tripura, Left Front is ahead in 7 seats , BJP in six and Congress in one.

Voting was held in 59 sets.

In Meghalaya, Congress is ahead in 2 sets, NPP is leading in 1 in the 59 seat Assembly so far.

In the 60-seat Nagaland Assembly, NDPP is leading in one seat.
