COVID-19: Schools, educational institutes to remain shut in Jammu and Kashmir till July 15

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir government has announced all schools and coaching centres will remain closed in the union territory till July 15 amid COVID -19 crisis.

The government said no on-campus/in-person education will be imparted to students.

"All schools and coaching centres in Jammu and Kashmir shall continue to remain closed for imparting on campus/in-person education to students of all classes till 15.07.2021," read the order as quoted by ANI.

COVID-19 has left institutes across the nation shut since last year.

Online education has boomed and emerged as a means of education since then.
