Hazratbal Shrine draws massive crowd of one lakh devotees on Jumma-ul-Vida eve

Srinagar/IBNS: A large number of followers gathered at the Hazratbal shrine to participate in the special congregational prayers that precede Jumma-tul-Vida, while the historic Jamia Masjid located in the Nowhatta region of Srinagar was closed for the day, on Friday.

 

According to reports, the largest gathering of Muslims for Friday prayers was seen at the Hazratbal shrine, where around one lakh devotees were said to have participated.

In order to facilitate the devotees, various special arrangements were made, such as sanitation facilities, lighting arrangements, traffic management, transportation, and other necessary measures. officials said Good Morning Kashmir.
