Hyderabad/IBNS: A 70-year-old woman was killed and at least seven others were injured in a hit-and-run case involving a Mercedes Benz SUV reported from the Shahalibanda area in Hyderabad's Old City in the wee hours of Wednesday.

According to reports, the over speeding high-end car lost its control and hit an autorickshaw and few motorcycles at Hussainialam.

The SUV also ran over at least eight pedestrians before escaping the scene.
