Indian Foreign Service Officer trainees call on Modi

New Delhi, Apr 5 (IBNS) Sixty-four officer trainees of the 2014 and 2015 Batches of the Indian Foreign Service called on the Prime Minister on Tuesday.

Sharing his thoughts, Prime Minister encouraged the young Officers to work towards fostering closer relations between India and the outside world; developing deeper understanding of the country of their posting; linking the Indian states with the outside world in the spirit of cooperative federalism; promoting greater people to people & cultural contacts; strengthening trade, investments and technology ties; and according greater attention to secure the interests and look after the welfare of the Indians abroad.
