Jagan Mohan Reddy files nomination for Pulivendula Assembly seat
Kadapa Mar 22 (UNI) YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) President Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday filed his nomination papers to contest from Pulivendula Assembly constituency in the April 11 election.
Reddy went to the Tahasildar office along with Senior leaders and submitted his nomination papers to the Election Officer at around 2 PM.
Earlier addressing an election meeting, the YSRCP President alleged that Chandrababu Naidu led government had conspired to arrest the Senior leaders of YSRCP in the coming days on false cases.
He flayed that on behest of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, the police might frame cases against his family members in the murder case of his paternal uncle Y S Vivekananda Reddy.
“YSRCP senior leaders may not be available in the coming days as they will be arrested in false cases. I trust YSRCP cadres, who live in rural areas, that they will support the YSRCP.
Naidu understood that his party TDP could not win the election and that is why he is indulging in mischievous deeds” he slammed.
He got emotional when he was talking about the recent murder of his paternal uncle Vivekananda Reddy. “They (TDP leaders) allegedly killed my uncle, ordered the police to inquire. The inquiry report will be as per the dictation of the TDP leaders, framing my family members in the case” he said with a choked voice.
Reddy alleged that Chandrababu Naidu has a secret alliance with Janasena Party President and actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan.
Without mentioning the name of Pawan Kalyan, Reddy said that Naidu is giving him script and dialogues which the film actor is reading out. The TDP forced Janasena to enter into the electoral fray to split the YSRCP votes, he charged.
Mr Reddy reminded that during the regime of his father late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, IIIT, JNTU and Cattle Research centre were established in Pulivendula and Outer Ring Road, four lane road at Venkateswara temple in Tirumala was laid.
He gave a clarion call to his cadre to explain about 'Navaratnalu' Welfare Schemes of the YSRCP to the voters and strive hard for the landslide victory of the party.
