Jet Airways to increase flight connections in Chennai from tomorrow

Chennai,Dec 6 (IBNS) Jet Airways on Sunday said it will continue its efforts to increase flight connections from Chennai to more destinations from Monday.

It  'successfully' operated a flight between Chennai and Bangalore today.

"After successfully operating a flight between Chennai and Bangalore today, Jet Airways is continuing its efforts to increase flight connections from Chennai to more destinations. Tomorrow (December 7, 2015), we will connect to Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore," Jet Airways said in a statement.

"Jet Airways is working closely with airport authorities to plan for operating its full flight schedule from Chennai.Meanwhile, guests with confirmed tickets to and from Chennai till December 15, 2015 will be allowed full refund of tickets or complimentary change of booking to alternate date," read a statement issued by Jet Airways.

After being shut down for four days due to excessive water-logging as a result of flood in Tamil Nadu, Chennai Airport on Sunday resumed commercial flight operations.

The Chennai airport was shut on Tuesday evening due to excessive water-logging.
