Jharkhand: Minor girl found hanging inside home in Palamu

Daltonganj/UNI: Minor daughter of a JAP jawan committed suicide by hanging herself inside her house located at Joga village under Untari Police Station area of the Palamu district.

The deceased has been identified as Anuradha Kumari alias Anu (16). The incident came to notice on Friday morning when the woman woke up in the morning and saw her daughter hanging after which she raised an alarm.

Upon receiving information a police team reached on the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. It is being suspected that the girl committed suicide over a love affair.

Police said that the girl even tried to write something on her hand using a blade which is unreadable. At the time of the incident, the father of the deceased was not in the home as he was posted in Chaibasa.
