Kanhaiya Kumar seeks crowdfunding for his election campaign

Patna, Mar 26 (IBNS): Left's candidate from Bihar's Begusarai, Kanhaiya Kumar, who is making his debut in the electoral politics this general election, is seeking crowdfunding for his poll campaign.

Besides asking for votes, Kumar is also making an appeal to his supporters for funds.

His campaign team is eyeing a target of Rs. 70 lakh.

He is the joint candidate of the Left parties from Begusarai.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fielded Union Minister Giriraj Singh against Kumar.

The 17th Lok Sabha Election will begin on Apr 11 and end on May 19.

The counting of the votes will take place on May 23.
