Kashmir youth sacrificing lives for sake of resolution: Farooq Abdullah

| | Apr 06, 2017, at 02:18 am
Srinagar, Apr 5 (IBNS): National Conference president and former Union Minister Farooq Abdullah on Wednesday said that the youth, who pelt stones on security forces, are "sacrificing lives" for the resolution of Kashmir issue.

He was reacting to the recent remark of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in which he had asked the youth of Kashmir to choose “either terrorism or tourism”.

Abdullah said, youth who are pelting stones have nothing to do with tourism.

They will starve to death but they are pelting stones for the sake of nation.

"They are sacrificing lives so that a solution can be found to Kashmir issue. They are not sacrificing lives for tourism," Abdullah said during workers' convention at his Gupkar residence in Srinagar.
