Kiren Rijiju calls meeting with US Ambassador to India Kenneth I. Juster as 'fruitful'

New Delhi, Aug 13 (IBNS): The US Ambassador to India Kenneth I. Juster along with other officials of the Embassy called on Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju here in New Delhi on Monday.

They reiterated the strong resolve of India and US to jointly counter the threats posed by terrorism to two of the world’s biggest democracies as well as the world peace.

In this regard, Kenneth Juster expressed his country’s keenness to continue the ongoing Homeland Security Dialogue between India and US for a concrete conclusion.

They also discussed measures to further strengthen Indo-US ties during the meeting.

After the meeting, Rijiju tweeted: "I'm happy to meet U.S. Ambassador to India Mr. Kenneth I. Juster. We had a fruitful discussion on wide ranging security and other issues to strengthen Indo-US relations."
