#LokabhaElection2019: BJP appoints Uma Bharti as its vice president
New Delhi, Mar 24 (IBNS): Bharatiya Janata Party has appointed senior party leader Uma Bharti as its vice-president on Saturday.
The party made the appointment just days after Uma Bharti decided that she will not contest the Lok Sabha polls this time.
Uma is currently a parliamentarian from Jhansi seat.

In her tweet, Uma has expressed happiness over the appointment made by the BJP.
The seven-phase Lok Sabha polls will start from next month.
Counting of votes will take place on May 23.
