| @indiablooms | Mar 30, 2019, at 10:02 pm

Ranchi, Mar 30 (UNI) State RJD president Gautam Sagar Rana today said that his party was part of mahagathbandhan but has requested its senior leaders to allow RJD contest on Chatra and Palamu seats.

Addressing a Press Conference here Rana said that final decision in this regard would be taken by the national president of the party as to whether RJD should contest on both seats or not. He said that party candidate Subhash Yadav will file nomination from Chatra on April 5 while Ghuran Ram will do in Palamu April 6. He said that the party will not only fight an election on these two seats but would also win them.

Rana said that a meeting of mahagathbandhan has been scheduled at the residence of Hemant Soren on March 31 in which the party would urge those candidates who are capable of winning from a seat they should be allowed to contest.

He said that a war room would also be built to monitor the poll preparations while all senior workers will visit the concerned Lok Sabha areas.

Rana said that despite claims of being the world's largest party BJP was facing lack of candidates due to which rejected candidates of RJD have now become selected candidates in BJP and pointed that even the former president of state unit of BJP was asking for tickets from JMM.
