Srinagar, Apr 15 (IBNS): The convoy of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti was attacked with stones in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, media reports said.

The incident occurred while Mufti, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president, was returning from a shrine at Khirram to Bijbehara.

She went to the shrine to pay her obeisance.

One of the spare vehicles of the motorcade was damaged with stones leaving the driver injured.

Mufti is contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Kashmir's Anantnag seat. She had also won the seat in 2014.
