Mild earthquake hits West Bengal, tremors felt in parts of Odisha, Jharkhand
Kolkata, Aug 28 (IBNS): A mild earthquake hit West Bengal with tremors being experienced in Kolkata, Hooghly, Purulia and Midnapore.
The quake measuring 5.0 on Richter Scale hit Bengal around 6:23 pm.
No damages have been reported so far.
Tremors were also felt in some parts of neighbouring Odisha and Jharkhand.
