New Delhi, Mar 9 (UNI) Reacting to reports of Nirav Modi staying in London, the Congress on Saturday charged the Narendra Modi led NDA Government of failing to nab the fugitive diamond trader .

Addressing reporters here, AICC spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi said that as per reports, Nirav modi ewas operating his business normally in london.and that the Central Government has failed to take effective action against him.

Taking a jibe at the Modi government, she said that this was an yet another instance that “Modi hai toh Mumkin Hai“ slogan was correct for India’s fraudsters.

'The country is now a witness to the Narendra Modi Fraudster Settlement Yojana,'she said.

As per the media report, absconder Nirav Modi is accused of a scam in Punjab National Bank who swindled over Rs 10 thousand crore, Chaturvedi said.

“A newspaper reporter could find him in London but the Indian agencies have no clues about his where about”, she added.

Chaturvedi said that in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Modi had promised to bring back black money to India but instead these fraudsters were leading a comfortable life on the money of the tax payers.
