Nepal: Over 20 injured in road mishap

Kathmandu, Aug 15 (IBNS): A bus fell down in Sunakheti Bidur Municipality-9 of Nuwakot district of Nepal on Wednesday which left 20 people injured, media reports said.

The condition of three people is said to be critical.

The bus — heading from Bhungtang to Trishuli of Nuwakot district along the east-west highway — fell 40 meters down the road when it swerved to the side to give way to another vehicle coming from the opposite direction, informed District Police Office, Nuwakot, The Himalayan Times reported.

The injured people were rushed to a hospital for treatment.

Police have started investigating the matter.
