New Delhi, Oct 9 (IBNS): A Nigerian national was brutally thrashed by locals in Delhi on Sept 24 for allegedly attempting theft at a household.

The video of the incident emerged on Monday.

The Nigerian national, identified as Ahmed, was arrested by the police after he was handed over by the locals.

On Sept 24, Ahmed allegedly broke into the second floor house of Savitri Nagar resident Krishan Kumar from the roof of the building.

In the FIR lodged, Kumar alleged that he heard his almirah creek open, which woke him up. On waking up, he saw the Nigerian trying theft in his room.

After the video came to limelight, Krishan Kumar was arrested on Monday, media reports said.
