PM Modi condemns suicide attack in Lahore

New Delhi, Mar 27 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday condemned the suicide attack in Pakistan's Lahore city which killed more than 50 people.

"Heard about the blast in Lahore. I strongly condemn it. My condolences to families of the deceased & prayers with the injured," PMO India tweeted quoting Modi.

A suicide attack in Pakistan's eastern city of Lahore on Sunday left at least 58 people killed and 200 others injured, media reports said.

Rescue operation is currently going on.

Following the attack, three days of mourning has been announced by the Punjab government.
