New Delhi, Jan 10 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair the Union cabinet meeting on Wednesday to review the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) policy, media reports said.

The Union cabinet is expected to review the FDI policy on sectors like construction and single brand retail, report said.

Modi along with his colleagues will look to relax the FDI policy a bit to attract more investments.

It would be interesting whether the government relaxes the policy to 100% from current 49% in automated route in single brand retail.
