Police constable injured in Kashmir militant attack
Srinagar, Mar 31 (IBNS) : A cop was seriously injured after militants attacked a police party in Khanabal area of South Kashmir's Anantnag district.
Reports said that a group of militants opened fire on a police party resulting in the injuries to a constable.
The militants reportedly managed to escape after carrying out the attack. The area was cordoned off and a search operation was on.
The injured constable, identified as Trilok Singh, has been shifted to 92 Base Army Hospital Srinagar.
